Zavume designs, builds and tests how AI can help local businesses show what they do, be found by the people looking for them, and run with less friction.

Work

Things we have built.

Four pieces of work, all made by Zavume. Some are public, some are internal tools. None of them is a client result.

Concept studio

Five invented brands, five art directions.

A steakhouse, a dental clinic, a jeweller, a window maker and an architecture studio. None of them exists. For each one we wrote the name, the identity, the copy and a full responsive site, and gave it its own idea of how a page should move. They are there to show how we think.

Internal tool

A CRM that AI agents can write to safely.

Every weekday an AI agent researches local businesses and sends what it found to our CRM. The CRM deduplicates every run, makes retries harmless, and only lets the agent move a lead through the early stages. Everything after that belongs to people and to rules in the database.

Next.js, Supabase with row-level security, a token-checked ingest API.

Open-ended tooling

A reusable engine for programmatic video.

Built on Remotion and React. It has design tokens, a camera with inertia and depth, timelines that follow a voice-over, a sound-effect kit, and tools that analyse a reference video and describe how it moves. The goal is to borrow a principle and never the footage.

Working method

A Claude Code workspace made of reusable skills.

Local SEO research, Google Ads campaign structure, social carousels, review replies and site design each live as a skill that Claude Code loads on demand. The same task gets the same method every time, and we improve the method instead of repeating the prompt.

Research

What we are investigating.

Open questions we work on by building things. We only publish findings we can verify, so for now these are directions, not results.

  1. What makes a local business legible to an AI assistant?

Structured data, the same business details on the site, the map listing and social profiles, and one clear page per service. We apply this to our own work first, and plan to measure how search and assistants describe it.

  2. How much should an agent be allowed to do on its own?

Our CRM limits agents to the early stages, deduplicates every run and makes retries safe. We are writing down which permissions held up in daily use and which ones broke.

    StatusActive

  3. Can a reference be turned into a system instead of a copy?

We measure how a reference video changes over time, then rebuild the principle with original content and our own identity. The motion engine is where this gets tested.

    StatusActive

  4. Does showing a prototype change the conversation with a business owner?

We build a working version first and only then talk, instead of describing a service. We are keeping notes on how owners respond. There is nothing to conclude yet.

How we help

Where AI helps a small business, and where it should not decide.

We focus on owners of established local businesses who do good work and are hard to find or hard to understand online. For each kind of help, this is what the AI does and what stays with a person.

  • Be understood

Websites, copy and visual direction that explain what the business does in a few seconds.

AI doesDrafts structure, copy variants and layout options.

A person decidesWhat the business really is, and how it should sound.

  • Be found

Google Business Profile, local SEO, Google Ads structure and content that AI assistants can read.

AI doesClusters keywords, reads competitors, drafts campaigns.

A person decidesThe budget, the claims, and what gets published.

  • Run lighter

Intake flows, integrations between tools and assistants that handle the repetitive part of attending customers.

AI doesSorts incoming messages and drafts replies.

A person decidesWhat gets sent, and every exception.

  • See it first

A working prototype before any commitment, so the owner reacts to something real.

AI doesBuilds a navigable version quickly.

A person decidesChecks it against facts, photos and permissions.

Approach

How we work with AI.

Claude Code is our main build environment. Research, code, review and content run through it, and a person reads what ships.

  1. Show before promising.

A working artifact says more than a description of a service.

  2. Agents propose. People decide.

Permissions are narrow on purpose, and the rules live in the system, not in a prompt.

  3. Measure, or do not claim.

No invented clients, numbers or testimonials. Concept work is labelled as concept work.

  4. Clarity over volume.

One idea per screen. If something needs a paragraph of explanation, we redesign it.

Who runs it

João Vitor, founder.

Zavume is run by one person who works across design, marketing and software. He uses Claude Code to build the way a larger team would, and keeps every decision in human hands.
